Thule's Tepui 901350 Ruggedized Kukenam 3 Soft Shell Rooftop Tent is built perfectly for those outdoor enthusiasts who seek rugged off-road backcountry exploration, or those just sharing time with the family on weekend camping excursions. The Tepui Ruggedized Kukenam can accommodate up to three people and has a static weight capacity of 600 lbs.  


For those who like extra space, the Ruggedized Kukenam 3 Rooftop Soft Shell Tent fits 2 people nicely.  The Ruggedized Kukenam's sleeping footprint is 96in x 56in with a peak internal height of 52 inches. For the stargazers out there, the Ruggedized Kukenam has two built-in screened sky panels offering a full view of the night sky and during the day allows ample light. The extra-large internal pockets and gear anchor points help keep your items organized. The Ruggedized Kukenam Tent is equipped with a diamond plate base for added strength, durability and protection. The Tepui Kukenam Tent has a welded aluminum construction with a fully wrapped internal frame built to withstand any environment for years of use. The Ruggedized Kukenam is constructed from high quality 360g Polyester Cotton (canvas), 600D ripstop fabric with water resistant ventilate coating, UV, mold resistant, and dual stitched taped seams. In addition, the Ruggedized Kukenam tent includes an anti-condensation mat to help keep moisture from building up under the mattress, preventing unwanted mold build up. 


The initial set-up was pretty quick, taking only about 30 minutes the first time including mounting it on the back of our General Manager’s Ford F150.  Once we got the hang of it, we were able to set it up and break it down within minutes. Thule does a very nice job of having the package come prepackaged and mostly preassembled.  Overall, Thule's Tepui Ruggedized Kukenam 3 is a great soft shell tent checking off just about every box making it a valuable option.  We have created a short video that demonstrates the set-up and highlights the features of the tent that we hope you’ll find insightful:
