    Thule's new Helium Lightweight Aluminum Hitch Mounted Bicycle Racks are the most impressive new products that Thule has rolled out this year. They sport an incredibly sleek look, with an eye catching all-aluminum design. With such a slim profile you might think the Helium is a lightweight rack, and it does weigh about 1/3 less than a standard steel-frame bicycle rack. But don't let its good looks fool you. The Helium is every bit as tough as a steel-frame rack, and its aluminum frame can't rust!
    As I'm sure you already know, looks aren't everything. The Helium wouldn't be much of a hitch rack if all it did was look good. With fully integrated locking security, Thule's premium T3 bike cradles, and the best anti-rattle hitch mechanism in its class, the Helium offers much more than just bike rack bragging rights.The helium comes with Thule's 955 No-Sway Cages. Thule's T3 cradles with included No-Sway Cages hold your bikes gently but firmly in place and help eliminate sway even on rough roads. The bike arm assembly folds down out of the way when not in use, and features an integrated bike cable lock to make sure your bicycles are safe from theft. The new "stinger" tongue assembly will fit both 1 1/4" and 2" hitch receivers, and its integrated tightening mechanism with locking knob hold the Helium securely in place and eliminate "rattle" while making sure no one walks off with your sweet new rack. There are two versions available, the 970 Helium Lightweight Aluminum 2 Bike Hitch Mounted Bicycle Rack and the 971 Helium Lightweight Aluminum 3 Bike Hitch Mounted Bicycle Rack.
