Thule and Yakima Roof Racks - Getting Started

    Do you need a roof rack for your car, truck, or SUV, but you're not sure where to start? While there are a lot more options to choose from these days, finding the right rack for you isn't as difficult as you might think. If you've never had a roof rack before, our Automated Fit Guides are a good place to start. They make choosing the right rack quick and easy. The Thule Fit Guide and Yakima Fit Guide will show you all the base racks that fit your vehicle, as well as accessories that will let you carry just about anything. Best of all, Thule and Yakima only list racks in their Fit Guides that have been tested by professional engineers, so you know your new rack will fit like a glove.
    Now that you know what racks will fit your vehicle, the hardest decision you'll have to make will be choosing between the two brands. This really is the hard part, because Thule and Yakima both have a history of quality products and customer satisfaction. They both feature Limited Lifetime Warranties, too. Most Thule and Yakima accessories are compatible with each other's car racks, so you won't be "locked in" to any one brand.
